Hey guys,

These 2 pewters were recovered in close proximity to a 3rd/19th/23rd Regiment of Foot pewter buttons and a handful of brown bess musket rounds. The smaller pewter I believe has a tutor rose motif, likely a British cuff with the linear scissor mold seam. The larger is a construction I am not familiar with- perhaps gas expansion? It appears to have 3 round dots on the front. Let me know what you think!

We fired our guns and the British kept a'comin.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began to runnin'
down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico . And 07 I see you found some nice pewter buttons from the foot guard regimental from a long time ago.
