Hey all,
Went to a cellar I've hit one or two times before. I found an older buckle last time I was there, but not too much else. The site is full of thorns and downed branches...really difficult hunting.
I first came across what I initially thought was a buckle, but it's super thin. I could easily break it in half with no effort if I wanted to. You can barely see a flower on the right/left sides of the 2nd picture. I posted this on the What is it? forum and it seems that it might be some sort of hair pin/piece. Any input would be appreciated.
Next I an old fork with no markings. It looks older than most I've found. I forgot to take a picture and will do so when I get home a little later.
Then I got the unidentified piece with a hole on either side (the blurry picture...sorry). Not sure what this is.... furniture decor?
Finally I came across the 2-piece flower button....my first of this type. Backmark reads: Waterville Mfg Co. I think this mark dates 1847-1850... Pretty happy with this find!
Thanks for looking!!!!
