What a beautiful SLQ, and an awesome date and mint mark as well........congrats......and I truly don't wanna be "that guy" but please don't use your thumb and water to clean a coin ever again.......those DEEP scratches brought tears to my eyes.....

I’m very much still a newbie, and these are actually my first silver coins. Wish I knew more about cleaning prior. Going to do a little reading. There appears to be a lot on here about cleaning but iff anyone has a short sweet answer or link to coins and buttons especially in the field that would be great. Otherwise it’s time to do a little homework.

My 1911 Barber quarter and my 1920 SLQ are my favorite 20th century silver coin digs. A 1917 is even better

Man that boob quarter is in great shape. Can’t read the date on mines. Yours musta not been in gravel like mine was. Congrats on the double silvers scdirt.
