The news was threating on staying in the mid 90s today, and thank God they were right.

It’s sad that I was excited to see the high was only 94 today


A lot of schools are going thru construction this summer and I was able to pull these 2 out of a sidewalk tear out.

Also found this weird plate thingy that I “think” says Lapland??

Cant find ANYTHING about it because of the city in Finland.

Congrats!! It's always a treat to pull some silver out during the middle of summer, it's been 100+ here for almost 3 weeks. It's finally cooled off in the mid 90's here as well.

That thing that you found with Lapland is really strange. The english word 'Lapland' means 'Lappland' in Swedish and Finnish. Sweden and finland exists both of own provinces (like own small states (But not self ruling). And the biggest and coldest province that is located farthest up in our country is called 'Lappland'. Finland's Lappland is also their biggest province located furthest up in their country. Lappland in Finland makes up half of the countries area. So maybe some Swedish or Finnish person hung it up somewhere on their house to remember their home? Idk, it's a really strange piece...
