2 Union Cavalry Rosettes found by old Civil War supply road

Hit my new permission in Central VA where landownwer is moving dirt near old CW supply road and these relics popped out pretty near each other. Look forward to returning.

Thanks!!! any experts out there to confirm these are indeed Civil War they have an iron or lead back. Someone on another site is saying post CW up to WW1 but based on where found I do think they are CW but I am no expert.

Nice rosettes I'm no expert, but I did open the Howard R. Crouch book and those look similar to #3. Similar font, but the letters look taller in the one in the book... not sure if that makes a difference.
