There is a word for when people see things that aren't really there but they really want them to be there. The word is pareidolia. A good example of pareidolia is when people see the Virgin Mary in a piece of toast or in a window that has moisture between the panes.

I think it is a real stretch to call this an overstrike. If this coin has the overstrike then there are lots of others out there because they would all have been made from the same dies. Has anyone heard of any others? I have not.
