Wow, that's a lot of slides. I've only found 12 of the examples that you showcased in your photo, and that's taken me almost 3 years. But, I don't hunt scout camps. Just city parks and school yards.

Pictured is a different type of slide that I found a couple of years ago, and thought that you might enjoy seeing it.

Hope you are able to add more next year.

Those are outstanding! Nice display job!

Thanks Starwarsblazer! I like to display my finds when I can - makes it easier to show others what I like to do in my spare time :)

Boy Oh Boy, bet your glad for Boy Scout camps. Nice collection. Be nice to donate that collection
to a Boy Scout camp in your area. Might just get you a place to hunt for the rest of your life.

The campgrounds I detect on are private property, and I have exclusive persmission to hunt them pretty much whenever I'd like as long as I call first so the property caretaker who lives on the property knows I'm there. I have taken my finds into my local scouting council office and showed them to the executives there. They asked me if I'd display the collection of items I've found at some of their camporees and troop campouts, so I ended up not only displaying everything and talking about treasure hunting, but I brought along a couple of extra detectors and let the boy scouts try detecting on their own in small groups. It was a big hit.

Very cool. That is a SWEET collection of those. I've only found 1 in the last 3 years.
