Hello L4S, I haven't been able to get out much. I got two Rosies and a merc from the water over the weekend when I was out with Goldinwater. Then today I got two Mercs at an old one-room schoolhouse site near my town that I never even knew existed! LOL!!! these five put me at 124 silver for the year. I Just bought a new Excalibur II and This weekend was the first time out with it. I got two gold rings. so I guess put those on my tally too.

p.s. I left one of the rosies in my water pouch so it's not in the pic. I forgot to take pics of the two mercs before I cleaned them. LOL!!!

Hello 2011. Another year behind us, and a new one ahead of us. I will continue to keep updating our silver finds for Illinois in 2011 as long as you guys want to participate. I think its just pretty cool seeing the number of silver coins coming up out of the ground in our state, and seeing how the numbers will change year after year. Since we are pulling so much out, and no one is replenishing it. This tally is not intended to create any sense of competition, just a simple tally for ourselves to follow. Enjoy 2011, and I hope everyone meets and surpasses all of their goals. HH! L4S
