Bump me up tp 55. Went to the old faithful drive in a scored a 46 rosie, and a 41 merc, i cant believe there is still silver at this place, went there cause i had no where else to go and the weather was crappy. In the afternoon went the the old fairgrounds and didnt find a thing. On the way home spotted a sidewalk strip that i hadnt hunted before and shazam......a 1944 Walking Liberty Half. my third one of the year. Nothing like pulling a silver half out of the ground.

I had a good day, add 6 more silvers to my tally!! I got a 1940d merc, a 1937d quarter, a 1942p war nickel, a 1944p war nickel, a 1954 rosie, and a 1962d rosie.

I got one lonely 1940 Washington quarter today, that bumps me up to 62 silvers for the year!!!

Went out for a bit today, got five more silvers!! 1917 merc,1920d merc, 1943 Washington Quarter, 1952 Rosie, and a 1964 Rosie. These five put me at 67 Silvers for 2011! I also dug a smashed top to something and it's marked "sterling" I also found a ww2 era Good Conduct Medal with a name engraved on the back. The name on the engraved on the back of the medal is: S. Buyak maybe someone can find out if the guy is still alive and I'll get this medal back to him(or surviving family)

P.s. the quarter I found yesterday and posted was a 1946 not a 1940! I should have washed it before I posted it. LOL!!!
