Thanks for the additional photos. I thought it might be glass from the video, but now I'm wondering if it's silver or pewter. What is it?

The odds are with salt, but that seems an unusual sprinkler top pattern, with larger diameter holes. What are the dimensions?

Am d'at Ag? Are you going to try & clean it farther?
