2014 is about gone... let's hear about your 2015 goals in the field

I'll start it off....

I have 4 goals but will settle with any single one of them completed........

1. Find enough gold in one day to register on a scale.

2. Build my 2" infinity jet dredge.

3. Blow the dust off my White's spectrum detector and get back into the hunt.

4. Post 1 awesome video of an adventure with finds that are above the ordinary.

Who's Next ??? ?

edit - never mind. I missed that this was in a state section.

My goal for 2015 is to get out with my buddies, Mike and Don, with pans or coils, or both.

1. get on the chippendale's calendar
2. dump selena gomez
3. hit 5k likes
4. get first gold

Dig a silver dollar up. That would just be awesome.

You forgot #5. Quit taking too much of that medicine the Doc gave you for pain...

But it says every 4 hours on the bottle...EVERY 4 HOURS!!!! Lol

1. Find & detect some ghost towns
2. Hike to some remote stream in the mountains, camp, and pan for a couple days.
3. Get a nice old coin find
4. Actually see gold in the pan, lol

Hey Machinist, have you tried the E. fork of the Lewis.
Let me know how you do if you go. I've been wanting to check it out myself, but it's a few hrs drive from my area.
East Fork of the Lewis River - Washington Gold

Hi Mike, no I have not tried the east branch yet. I did some panning right off the Lewis on a little tributary stream but no luck. I plan to check out the east branch when some good weather returns so I will let you know how I did.

1) 1oz t
2) find my first picker/nugget
3) Purchase a Gold Bug 2 detector

Ok, I have a few...after paying off the Dahlke 4" micro dredge I'm buying.

1. First picker...tough one in washington, but gonna find one none the less!

2. Have a day that shows more colors than I have ever had in a sluice clean out before.

3. I have been trying to get up to 8 grams for 2 years now. I would love to get way more than that, but I've not even passed the 2 gram marker in 2 years at this point...I want to make my wife a ring of my gold.

4. Go to the coast and watch the Gold Cube destroy the beach sand, and come home with some pretty golden sugars!!

1) Get out at least once every month in 2015, a lot more in some
2) Introduce at least one person to small scale mining.
3) Buy or build a trommel, maybe the one for the gold cube...
4) build a flared vortex sluice for fine gold recovery
5) complete and test my concentrator.
