211 year old coin

[Mike from MI]

I got this beauty last week while digging with my good friend Mark. It is my new oldest coin. An 1803 Draped Bust large cent.
I also got the nice victorian buckle that day.

Fantastic! One of the earliest American coins in history. Someone probably wore that on a string around their neck some 200 years ago.

[Discrimination Dave]

COOL!
please move the coin though, so we can see the buckle, no?

Awesome finds..

Beats my oldest coin by 30 years, congrats!

[RelicMedic]

Awesome! The coin is great but that buckle is incredible!

Nice one Mike. I have dug three 1802's over the years. Would like to get one from 1790's before I'm too old to detect any more !

Congrats on the draped bust largie!
