ticndig. I often get skunked but I know they are out there somewhere and I really enjoy the challenge of searching for them.
I can only hope that gold will also be on my scoop in the near future ..
You've got a lot more patience than me, whose tally stands at a miserable "one".
Seemingly, if you exclude some particular varieties and cultivars where the incidence can be higher, the average frequency of a "four-leaf" in the wild is about 1 in 5,000 (established from a survey of 7 million clovers).
Charlie P. (NY) The 4 leaf clovers are so difficult to find ..sometimes I will ride my John Deere and find them..
Years ago we won front row center seats to see Ringo with Jack Bruce from Cream and the All Star band and had conversations with them sometimes between songs.
Some may argue but to me the Beatles are the best
Red Coat. I always enjoyed the challenge and get skunked often..It just gives me something to do in the yard instead of working on all the chores. For me it’s like detecting I know there’s rewards out there and hopefully sooner or later I will get lucky

I've found 5, 6 and 7 leaf clovers. Maybe even 8 and 9 leaf clovers. I'd have to look. When I find one four leaf, I usually find a few more in the same spot. I have found like 8 to 10 all at the same time/within minutes of each other. The last few times I found several at once, I put them in wax paper and ironed them. They have turned yellow in the wax paper, over time.
The ones put into books always seem to get busted up and broken, however, they hold the green color better.
No BS ....One day at the range a friend of mine found (4) 4 leaf clovers in the span of a few minutes. While we were walking & talking .He had some eyesight ! And more lives than a cat.

xr7ator Thanks for stopping and it’s fun searching for them. I try to put them in the center of a book then place some weight on top..after they dry I try to get them laminated
RTR. That’s a beautiful car on your avatar..I wish I still kept my 66 Olds Cutlass convertible..
I always enjoyed looking for clovers as it’s nice to be outside not cutting grass for a change
