Beach in the wet sand. Was chatting to some beach goers who thought I was 'vacuuming' the sand, so I was explaining about metal detectors 101 etc, then put the coil down between us to demonstrate and got a really sweet signal. Pulled this ring out, which surprised us both. After she joked I owed her dinner for bringing me luck!

I reckon 5-6 grams 999 (24k) gold!

Great find.
As stated previously, odd.
I've personally never seen 24kt jewelry/rings. Too soft.
But I type corrected. Well done!
Peace ✌

I have one 22k gold ring. Came in with a solid dime tone and reading, surprised the crap out of me. Do you remember how yours came in or were you using a PI machine. Super find:notworthy:

Can't beat 24K gold, most expensive precious metal, even more expensive than pure platinum now! :notworthy:

Wow! That is an awesome ring! Big Congrats!
Wonder if she ran out and bought a detector, since you made it look so easy :laughing7:
That never happens to me, I usually embarrass myself by digging up a pop top while trying to show people how the detector works. :icon_scratch:
