Those seated type are hard to find! It's been a long time since I've even seen a Barber pop out.
The seated and Barbers are out there but on the scarce side.

Nice find !! A pontil is a "scar" thats is sometimes very sharp & is on the bottom of very old bottles .Its where the blowing rod was.I dig up old bottles too !Green1 said:very nice !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Oh man, you gotta love diggin for bottles, it's almost as good as diggin
for coins. I love the seated 1/2 dime. My partner last week found a
seated 1/2 dime. I guess the partner's are the lucky ones. But I'd have
to say, I found a Flying Eagle penny the day before, so I guess he was
just catching up.
No to be a smart A_ _ or anything, but when you type your posts
please don't type to the end of the sheet. If you type about 3/4 of the
way across the page and return to the next line everyone can see
your post without trouble. Just a suggestion to everyone.

Hi Jim ,
On the original post, I have a hard time reading all of the post. I have to click on my mouse
to view the whole post. I could read your post just fine. Some guys I think type to the
end of the page and it makes it real hard to read. I have a 19 inch screen, so I think that
is large enough. I usually only type 3/4 of the way across the page, that way I know
everyone can read my posts with no trouble.
Anyway, I'm not trying to be a smart alec, just trying to read everyones posts easier.

Neat half dime! I love digging dumps! So much variety in a small area.
Dumps are like a treasure hunter's Wal Mart, lots of junk but sometimes a keeper will be found.
