289 antique porcelain buttons and 12 suspender clips

Found these today in a hole while detecting. I was shocked by the quantity.

I am not sure, there were bricks and broken glass around the area. They were all in a 2 X 2 foot area. I believe there are many more. I will return soon.

Looks like you might have found the area where they processed their cloth and rags before they used them as toilet paper? Everybody knows you need to remove the buttons, buckles and suspender clips before wiping yourself on a cold Michigan morning.
