It's too hot and wet to dig. Looking over past treasures and thought I would tell our tale of 2fer park. We had just got back into detecting and was checking out an old park in the area. We began to notice we kept finding things in 2 on most days. Not terribly unusual since two of us were digging I guess. This is a park hit hard over decades of diggers. Our first mercs there Bob found 2.
Then he found our first ever rings, yep 2.
Then I found our first and only bracelets to date. Yep, 2.
We were getting a little creeped out by then. This phenomenon began to subside a bit. Then one day, after about a 4 or 5 hour dig of not finding a whole lot other than odds and ends, I headed back to the car. Pretty soon, Bob comes out of the woods with a huge grin on his face and an outstretched fist in front of him. He's saying you are not going to believe what I found!!! He is so excited I am sure it is gold or a seated anything! He comes rushing over and drops this into my hand. Yep, a little better legless horse than I had found about an hour or so earlier. What are the odds!?!
