went to the hot park again, this time only used the DFX. Boy does it rock. went through all bottle cap infested areas and dug 0 caps. It was so nice I decided to dig all nickels and plumbs but no gold today. Man the DFX is right on the money with pinpointing and depth. Found over 50 clads and scored a cool token from Red Lodge Montana (11 inches), a Chinese coin from 9 inches and in one hole there were 3 dimes 2 1965 and a1964 Silver Rosie. would appreciate any help with time frame or dents on the Chinese coin and the Samuel Holppi Red Lodge Montana/Good for 10c in trade token.

Thanks for looking happy hunting

Nice digs!, cool a new machine makes an old place seem new again

Nice finds, really like that token, hopefully you can get a little info on it.

love the tokens and sounds like the new machine is working out nicely for you

Update on token, Thanks to Idahotokens

Samuel Holppi is listed in the 1903 & 1905 city directories as "General Merchandise" at 106 S. Billings Ave. in Red Lodge. They have evidently renamed streets in Red Lodge, because there is no longer a Billings Ave. Rubick's MT book shows both a 5¢ and 10¢ from this merchant. He quotes an eBay sale of the 5¢ one at $22 and of the 10¢ one at $5.

With Pescadores help
The Chinese coin is from Emperor HSUAN TSUNG
AD 1821-1850

Reign title: TAO-KUANG, AD 1821-1850
S-1512, "BOO CIOWAN" (Board of Revenue mint). The Manchu mint name translates to Pao-Ch'uan, or "The Fountain head of the Currency".

Thanks for the help, that's what makes this board special
