2nd gold ring found on beach in Dubai... and it's a beauty!

Hi All,

My metal detecting buddies and I went out last night at low tide and I got lucky! This thing is so gaudy that I thought at first it was a "junk ring" but then I saw the 22k and did the happy dance!

It fits me perfectly so I assume a man wore it but I guess a fat woman could have worn it as well.

Unfortunately, I didn't bring my scale to Dubai so don't have a weight.

Ok, I went and bought a scale at a local store. It says 8 grams exactly on the scale. Is that good?

The value is in the stones. 8 grams of 22k is about $375 melt value. I would have it appraised, you might be pleasantly surprised.

I might just do that! In the meantime, I need to learn more about rubies (assuming it is a ruby)....

I was going to say that any gold ring is a thing of beauty but that ring is crazy beautiful, congrats....you know that somebody cried over losing that one!
