Scored these two today, but what's up with this dark and mutilated Ben? Not sure if it rings correct either...

Thoughts? It also marks paper when rubbed. Why would anyone counterfit a Ben? Or did it just survive a fire?

That Ben looks cast to me. The letters aren't right. Did you weigh it?
