2x14K, another signet ring

Went deep today....had to swim some parts of the sand pit I was in with my drysuit on but made it to some virgin territory that way Best finds were a signet ring with some stone from 1965 and a small women's gold ring. Couple of silvers too and lots of old coins mostly from 60's to 90's.

Except at our club's monthly competition table. Platinum usually wins over gold if they're similar in value. Platinum is a bit harder to find, at least around here.

Zero platinum finds so far and I've not heard anyone find platinum where I live. That'll be the crown jewel of my show case when (if) I find one

though I do love the yellow glow of gold when it emerges from the muck even white gold is less thrilling to find...it says gold on the stamp but doesn't quite feel the same as the good old yellow butter
