Found at the Quarry site same place as the Dalton shown in my 1st post................
A perfect Sunny day!
I never will forget walking up on this one..........
A Kodak Moment....................Quarry site has a varity of Dalton base styles,,,,,

The ground had been very dry and a hard rain came eroding the dirt line the Dalton came from!

I could see that Dalton had no damage so much was exposed,................
Those Dalton are my oldest 3 points....................
This one being of the same chert as Drill,so I have two different time periods/style Dalton points.
And a poor lack of tools for as many whole and near whole Dalton find there
I do have a nice Flake End-Scraper that was hafted,,,,,,,,being ground on hafted end.......

Just think how long that Dalton was waiting to be found. Nice. Is the chert very light weight? I have seen some that were as light as air...

I'am not sure about light weight................its as heavy as any Burlington chert......thats what it is

Similar to Brassfield in Kentucky ...............
It has a very thin hafted area.....
