We have found the High School that these Medals came from,
Holton High School.
We have also narrowed it down to 3 students that they could have been Awarded to.
2 of these Students are still alive, 1 has passed on.
I should have my answer on Monday.
These Medals will be returned to there Owner if Possible or they will be Donated to the
Holton Michigan Historical Society.

Basketball 1955 Champs Class D
Basketball 1956 Champs Class D
880 Relay 1954 3 Place Class D

Just a little foot note:
I thought this would be a very simple task, find the School find the Student.
Schools in this area do not have records from that far back.

K Zack,
Yes, schools may not have those records but don't forget about Alumni Reunions; in this case the popular 50th that occured several years ago. If you could find the organizer of that Reunion, he/she might be able to assist you further--though it reads like you're close to finding the owner of those awards by other means. I look forward to reading about them being returned to the owner--perhaps with a picture.

Nice finds.I wish you luck. Hamid

that is very cool. Hope you find them soon!

Thanks for the Info Don.
I guess in a way I did just what you said might be a help.
I contacted my History Teacher from my school days this morning.
Very Good Info
Thank You Again
Kevin

Thank You everyone,
I hope that we will the name of the Student very soon.
Thank You

Very cool find !

Nice finds! I really like those Bball medals. That piece in the top right of your first photo looks like a "Boston Garter" men's sock garter...can you read anything on it? It could easily be 100 years old as they were popular back then.

wow cool! Be cool to hear the ending storie

Highman
I think you are on the Money on that one.
It is a Boston Garter, Velvet Grip, Last Pat Date of 12/21/95
Thank you for pointing that out.
The Button is a Civil War era US Army Button.
Happy Hunting

Super nice finds.:icon_thumleft:

You need to check the local and county libraries for copies the yearbooks from those years. Those should list who was on the sport teams, then it would be a simple matter of cross references the lists to see who matches all three.

We have found the owner and have contacted him, he is still down south right now.
I offered to send them to him, he said No.
He wants to pick them up in Person.
Just a waiting game now.
