3” buckle looking for a few details about it

Does anyone know the approximate year of this buckle? Certainly looks old. Not sure if it’s a regularly belt buckle or some kind of horse strap buckle?

Probably 50 to 100 years old. It's a very popluar style and they are still being made.

Most likely a horse harness buckle
