Well the morning started to give me the mumbles today. S N O W – white stuff is falling.

As u will see, I worked on my 8” Excalibur and put it on a straight shaft with excal. 2/3rds of the way back of elbow - I want to give this set up another try. I have tried it before, but it never lasted more than 1 week – we will see how long this one last.

Bobby w called and he was on the bay and said he was going dirt digging, the sand and wind were just toooo much to stand on the bay……I asked if he needed a partner –off I go.

Sepro dug 1 button and then I got jr out (he is off garage restriction now already) and jr finds 2 buttons – one is a really nice marine corp. I think, but it is not in very good shape like some we have found there.

Standby and good luck to everyone – see you Friday I hope, more white stuff is coming to the beach, but they say after 3pmish and we should get 1 to 2 inches –I do not like it.

VID IS LONG TODAY = 15 MINS.

Great looking buttons buddy. I really enjoy digging buttons any time.

Good stuff Max! The brass oval shaped thing could be some kind of piece off of a bridle/saddle maybe? Some sort of horse tack anyway, but that is just a guess. Let me know if you are gonna hit the Bay tomorrow (weather depending). The Excal 1000 will be down until I clean all the old silicone off of the coil and can use the marine epoxy on it like what you did. Guess It will be the GT if we go out tomorrow!

nice video max, ive been thinking about configurations for my excal,

The brass oval item was the inset for a keyhole to an early piece of furniture or trunk. Many were just there for show and not reall for use. Could be turn of the century or 1800s.

Looks like your move from surf to turf paid off Max. Very nice button!
