Just came back from visiting family in Italy.Only had time for three quick hunts with the heat and all.
Found lots of buttons and these three were my favourites.
One hunting button with the backmark of “ London Imperial “
A nice Navy button. My friend suggested it might be French.I really like the last one thou.can it also be a French button? Possibly a patriotic Napoleon button?

The Navy is French.
The Hunts is easy but the horse & rider is tricky.

If it helps, here’s a pic of the horse & rider shank.

Those are nice finds. That rider button has a striking resemblance to Napoleon. Maybe a patriotic button.

Well, as a drilled shank, that would help a UK ID, but being found in Italy doesn't help me much other than circa 1700 give or take a lot.

Yes it does and it was found in the same area as the French Navy button.

The horse button may be related to the Lipinzzaner stallions. They date back to the 16th century. This isn't the best picture but the rider is wearing a hat very similar to the one on your button.
