Went to an old park in town today (Steve, you know which one) with pointdlr and we both found some wheaties and one IH a piece. Mine is a 1899 and believe his was a 1900. I have only found 3 of them and this is my second 1899. I should find more of them now that I have figured out IH's disc. as Zinc pennies on my machine. I wonder how many I have passed by. Happy Hunting.

That one's in good condition. Congrats.

That's funny ,I have only found 3 IH's myself.2 of them are 1889's and a 1866.I found my second 1889 today as well.Cool find. HB

Lostlake wanted me to post this coin, b/c I found it on the surface. I didn't eyeball it, but I could have. I heard a beep, looked down and saw it. I could tell it was an indian head, and called over lostlake. He was shocked that a 108 year old coin could be on the surface. It turned out to be pretty nice. For some reason the edges show breakdown, but the insides are great. Full LIBERTY on the headband. Also found a 1919 wheat.
Regards,
Jon Dickinson.
