Hi Chris, before i did buy a detector i did get help from a man that is a god on detecting, that what he did tell me, Research is a must. I must :read2: :read2: and :read2: to try to find some interesting. The problem Chris is that the city i live in dint have so much history on the papers :icon_scratch:? Just that it lived a few people here in 1200.

But they have found stone axes and one bronze on other areas in this city near water. But the site we are on now is the highest point in Karlskoga. Filled with trails and paths i don't know but something is telling me to search more on that hill. Its getting a bit pain in the ass, tho some areas are some heave stephills... What did you think about the nails?
Thx Chris and best of luck to you!!

nice videos and finds ...congrats !

I think the now bent out of shape iron/steel object, used to be kind of 'U' shaped piece & was a structural joint for two pieces of wood, probably from an old wooden framed house.

Ahh, so it is a chance that an old house has been up there somewhere? The iron nail was not all on the same place, so maby they drooped some when they carrying the building material?

Could be, but without more evidence it could be a random loss like you say.
