I had better look out, my boy has a knack...

We went to a park that contained a late colonial home that was razed in the 40's. Dug a few wheaties and then my boy dug this sucker. Ca. Late 18th C

Those little ones need lots of love. It was a great short, and albeit, park hunt.

Good hunts everyone

Your son is lucky to have a great daddy, buddy. I have a feeling he's gonna find a British hammered before I do...dang it!!!!

What a nice old find for him to unearth.
I'm sure he'll never forget it.

Wonderful! Gotta start 'em young, eh Steve? Good stuff. -Lisa & John

better watch him, three year olds like to reprogram detectors for you, my grandson is very sneaky about it too. the play ground equipment is actually alive, they call out to kids in a frequency that we can't hear anymore

He may beat us both! Hammered British (or New World) is at the top of my list and I sure hope we find it before him. By the time he's grown up they'll just have an app that shoots radar into the ground and shows them where to dig. Lol

Absolutely Lisa! I'll be taking him and his sister to an actual colonial site next month to sift a pit. Like it or not!!! Lol.
