I have been hitting old homesites pretty hard lately and probably because of that I've been in a silver drought. I scouted out some old parks and when I got to the first I realized that the area was pretty run down.
It was pretty modern so I decided just to pull a bunch of clad and remember what getting coin after coin feels like regardless of age.
I had about 50 cents and then I hit a repeatable 85 but much more faint than the others that morning. I dug down to about 6 inches and out popped a thin silver disk. At first I was pissed because I thought the shiny coin was a play token like I had found in the past. After looking at it I saw a pretty worn 1913 barber dime. Today was a perfect example of how one find can make your weekend
