Do you ever fish for gray trout....back in the early eighties we fished in the the middle of the bay at the Cells....one afternoon we caught 11 trout, all between 4 and 11 pounds using peeler crabs.....caught croakers up to 3 pounds same trip....using double hook rigs and catching fish 2 at a time. My uncle lives on the Eastern Shore and has never had a day that good since. We go there on vacation every few years, but only catch small croakers at the Concrete Ships and out of Oyster when we go.

back in the late 70's we had big grays around the tunnel islands........5 to 9 lbers............gone forever i guess.......
