Out this morning early before it got too hot. Found this rare .32 Teatfire cartridge (loaded) about 3" deep. Kind of an odd find in this 1870-80's mining camp, but we also found a 9mm Pinfire a month ago.
This cartridge was invented by Danial Moore in 1863 for his Teatfire revolver, which was used among other things as a last resort gun in our War between the States, and pocket pistol.
