3hrs on the DUMP FIELD & SLOG FIELD............

Went up to the field to look for the rest of the Charles I thimble (see link below) but couldn't find any more bits.

However I did get a capbadge, fews buttons, 2 poor Roman coins, 1903 25 centimes, 1877 silver Sixpence.

Then tried the SLOG FIELD (named because of the lack of signals & finds) found:

Rare Queen Anne period button cica 1710 (see in the buckle)
Nice 1620s Charles I 'Rose' Farthing

Pretty happy with that as it was a hard & hot evening.

Love those English finds, congrats! Is that a French cap badge? Looks like many of the French buttons I have found. I found a French or a Belgique coin this week, not sure yet, looks like it has a counter stamp on it too. I'll try to get my finds up in the next few days, was on vacation last week and did not have time to post, LOL! Thanks for sharing the finds, enjoyed them. HH, Mike
