my local boxes been semi decent so i been kinda stay at home.last winter 3 days in fla tampa area 1 40 per center about 4k searched from 14 banks.

spring nw ark 1 40 per cent. 1050 searched 2 days from 8 banks

now se mich 2700 searched from 6 banks 7 40 per cent and one 1943 silver 50 cent canada.

getting better but,im really prefering my regular boxes.

its either we have no halves or come in for 3 to 500 bucks worth and theyre all hand rolled dumps.the newest trick is open boxes that have been already searched and the ends re crimped

i dream of these road kills but not finding. too many people doing this now.

Yea... I had a few nice road trips earlier in the summer, but the recent ones of fizzled out a bit. Nothing special.

Yeah, since the word got out. its been bad, I used to average $200 or more a week in silver profits. Now its down to $10 to $50, and I am searching 8 times the volume.
Any time too many people look for a limited resource...well, there is a reason why it is limited.
Everyone is CHR now. i am just waiting for some Idiot to do a TV news show about it in there local area and then scratch there head as to why they dont find anything anymore?
it will happen. I give it another year before halfs are the same ratios are quarters. There will always be a couple out there. Just not worth looking for.
The hobby part of going after halves has a very limited span with this volume of searching. It will self correct very quickly.
