3whole 3hours n 30ft

7months from my 1st hunt... a find, most dream of... a find, that i felt run through my fingertip in a single touch. a find, that turned my "just for fun"... into respect for the man or woman that survived by these pieces of flint rock... a find, that changed my world as i knew it!

im not sure what the biggest nor the smallest points are
the middle sized one im saying greenbriar
biggest-2toned dover flint
middle-black dover flint
smallest-dover? not sure

Nice looking points Kimberly. Check out Harpeth River http://www.projectilepoints.net/Pages/Searches/Points/Harpeth RIver.html, I think that's what the larger of the two is. If the smaller one is real thin it could be a Jacks Reef.

and yes the lil one is as thin as a quarte!
im sure the middle one is a greenbriar
i have yet to find the biggest one in ant id book

the harpeth river does have the same base but the tip of my point is a lil more narrow than the pics ive saw on the net but yes thats the closest ive seen yet. a few sites are saying the harpeth is paleo and a few are saying arcahic

K!mberly - Those are almost certainly Harpeth River points, even more so based on your hunting area. Great finds.

today i went to the rock mans museum. he is the holder of the christmas star. i didnt take my rocks but i gave him this site so he could look at the pics. i did get my 1st case there. its just the right size for the 3!!
