4/1/11 - $80 Dimes, box o' clad halves and... gold?

$80 CWR Dimes

$500 Halves

1 - Gold plated 1974, has markings from what looks like a pendant setting. (probably worth $.50)


Boring day at the bank and now for some dime counting, I may just set them aside as a long term investment in copper

A Copper Penny would probably be worth more than $0.10 by the time Copper goes high enough for Dimes to be worth face in melt value. And sadly, your Gold Plated 1974 is only worth $0.50 unless you can pawn if off for a few dollars to a total gold bug. I hear they make great presents for tellers at a source or dump bank.
