I had ordered two boxes from the bank and when I went to pick them up they said that they ended up with four and would I like the other two as well. I said OK and made 2 trips out to the truck with them. Results are not anything spectacular so far after just rippping them open and looking for silver. I'll go through them a little closer later.

Box 1-----2 40 %ers

Box 2-----3 40 %ers and 3 2004 P I will go over this box a little closer for more of those

Box 3-----1 64 90%er

Box 4-----1 40 %er

The odd thing is that all 40%ers were 1967. My birth year and I was doing this on my birthday.

Not the best results for silver. I may try this again one more time to see if I get better results. I have better results waiting for banks to have a few rolls in their safe. Results are better but I get impatient waiting for them to have rolls and when they do they only have a few of them.

Parrothead, Congrats on the silver.
I had similar results last week, a little better on one box.

Box 1 - 2x1967

Box 2 - 1967, 1969-D, 1981-S

Box 3 - 1964, 1966, 4x1967, 1968-D

Box 4 - 1965, 2004-P, 2005-P

Were your boxes the 5x10 yellow boxes (like mine) or the 5x5x2 brown boxes?
Just wonder if they all came from the same Fed distribution.

We shouldn't complain about the silver we find in the rolls of halves. There WILL come a day where all of the silver has been picked out of the rolls at banks. Just like the quarters and dimes.

Unfortunately true. :'(

I'm back to some dimes...They were originally where I started coin roll searching...1-6 silver on the average per box ($250)...Not like finding silver halves but the extra excitement of finding Mercs makes it ok! HH
