4 Half boxes ..289 keepers..first 1970.. w/ PICS

Went to pick up two half boxes. Teller said she had made a mistake and ordered 4 boxes. I said I would take all 4. Glad I did. Best boxes of the year so far. Here are the results.

22- 40's
I thought really good, compared to mostly skunks.Hoping my luck continued on box 2.

Wondering if it could get any better, Box 3 next.

Box 4, the silver vein slowed down a little.

All four boxes were dated the same day. I drove back to the bank this morning and ordered 2 more boxes ,hoping to get some more of the same.Here are the pictures..Enjoy...

Diver Down wanted these Pics.. No good dates . The coins are in the same positon in both pics. The upper right one has 3 cut marks equally spaced on both sides. Anyone have an idea about the cuts. Just coin counter damage ? Beat up old dirty skank, But I still love her....

that '43 looks real nice - looks close to XF. I found a '46S WL last month that's in similar condition. Congrats on the great score

The second '43 is indeed a lovely lady. Love her tone. The cuts on the other one are indeed strange. I can't imagine that damage occurring by a coin counter. Looks like the work of an over ambitious teenager in metal shop.
