Visited my dad today in Central Ma. and hit up a local park we've had luck at in the past. Ive found a few indians here, a few V nickels, a F.E. cent. Hes found some indians, and a shield nickel.

Today I got 2 firsts from the park. The Merc was the first surprise. Neither of us have found silver at this particular park. I was getting a nice high 70s on the vdi by a tree and thought id dig it out of curiosity. I was very surprised to see silver, and even more surprised at its condition.

Secondly I found my first buffalo here, its a 1935 and it dinged it up with the lesche by accident. I wasnt expecting a nickel because the vdi was in the high 40s.

Now i also dug 3 indians. Let me warn you, this park is vverrrryyy hard on indians. Im not sure if its the trees/leaves or fertilizer or what, but every indian that has come out of here has been very cruddy with a thick powdery layer of green on it. After some light cleaning to reveal dates, this is where ive left them before going into coin flips. We have an 1864 Fatty, 1880, and an 1884.

Nice job with the semi key Mercury dime! That 1919-D in XF condition is probably worth a nice $25 or $30 dollars!
