My company sent me to Okinawa for a 2 year contract, and I've been hitting some beaches around here when time permits.
Tonight my wife and I decided to hit one that isn't too far from the house, and we stayed for about 2.5 hours. She focused on the dry sand, and I took the wet.
The yen count wasn't that much... about 1,500 ($18.29) but while hunting the wet sand around the high tide line, I find 2 rings within 4' of one another. Not only that, but when the wife took a break and came to check on me, she pulled out 2 rings that she found at the volleyball court. Her rings appear to be fresh drops, but mine need some cleaning up.
Oh... and my Infinium added about 5 more bobbypins to the collection too.
