Been feeling Good & restless the last week or so.
and decided to head out to test my ankle.



so I headed to the town formerly known as Uniontown
and decided on the Grove













after Digging 13 Holes, My Ankle was sore, I wasn't sure if I was going to be able to stand up again after the last Few times down on my knees.
My Stomach was empty and threatening to Eat itself,
& the High Heat & Humidity was getting to me



I know waa-waa-waa ! But that's how it is

So I packed up & left

Gas rebate today 39 cents

and ended my hunt with a Greenie

I've been wearing a High Top Boot/shoe on that foot.
I don't think there is room in it for an ace Yet.

You scored a wheat!.....and a sore ankle. That happens when you stretch muscles that haven't been stretched in a while.

You got out that was half the battle, the ankle will improve. Hang in there!

I had heart ablation on July 8th to get rid of afib I'm 43 so it hit me young the dr says and have done a few short hunts. At least once maybe twice a week. I can say out longer now and feeling a lot better. It's not to hot today but I'm going to wait a bit and hit an old river crossing. Wife tells me to make sure I keep my cell phone on me but I usually leave it in truck. This hobby is to much fun to set at home and think about it and not go so it. Before long it will be to cold out. Good luck everyone.

Swing swang swung. Your back. Congrats on gettin out. Anticipation and planning, getting to and from is part of most hunts and considered part of them time wise.Oh wait you drove! l.o.l. A bad or short one better than none for dang sure..Wheaties count.

Probably the surgery where they take out a tendon in one spot and then reattach it to the bone to stabilize the ankle?

I am told that this is a tough surgery to recover from. I started to have problems in the military and I am still waiting (3 years) to get seen concerning it. I went to the emergency room almost a month ago and they are suppose to schedule me for a ortho doctor to look at it. I am going to give them 2 more weeks to contact me and then I am going to speak to a lawyer or something. I'm in my 40s and my civilian doctor really wants me to have this surgery quickly because he told me if I wait, it will be harder to heal due to the low circulation in the ankle area. He is ready to do it, but I have to wait for the VA to do something or I won't get compensated and the surgery will costs me hundreds.

And a former commander in chief, General Washington is turning over in his grave, again!
The U.S. maker of zincolns and throw away defender's of the realm. Sad!

hope your Ankle is feeling better soon, and that you wear knee protectors like the floor tile guys wear. I got mine at Lowe's. Bad knees mean no more digging!

since I went back to the same Spot I figured I'd Update instead of a New Post

Today I lasted at least an Hour since it never got out the 70's.
and allot of my coin finds were pickers from the last carnival.
