40 minute hunt produces silver

Got out for 40 minutes after work to a site that has been pounded for the last month or 2 and found one musket ball, one rivet and one clipped spanish silver piece.
Some of you spanish coin guys help me out with this one. Its about as thin as half a dime, and obviously from a smaller sized coin. Its got some markings on it, but none that are standing out distinguishable. Any ideas?

I think I just found Treasure, All I have to do is start maketing dig. cameras here on TN. Grt deal 40 minutes and what sounds like a real find, good fer you ! I'd trade my polaroid fer a 30 min hunt right about now.

Thanks for everyones good word! Its only a piece of clipped silver and extremely small! But I'll get a pic up as soon as I can.

Ken, Saturday is going to be a big hunt day with 5~7 guys if your interested. Neat site with colonial coins and relics, and some confederate happenings in the area.

Underbear, trust me when I say that my fingers were really mad about 40 minutes outside! I was wearing double gloves and still have some cold cold digits.
