41 Coins, 2 Silver, in Friend's Yard
I went to a get together with some friends tonight and after supper I was asked some questions about metal detecting. Of course I had mine with me, and decided to show the guys how it worked. I worked a pattern through my friend's yard and he even did all of the digging for me. After doing about 1/3 of the yard, I came away with 8 clad quarters, 4 clad dimes, 5 jefferson nickels, 12 wheat cents, 10 memorial cents and the two silvers, a 1945 washington quarter and a 1936 D Mercury Dime. We definitely could have found some more but the daylight came to an end. My friend is talking about buying a detector now so I may have a new hunting partner!! Hope you enjoy the picture and Happy Hunting!!
