Took my Ace to North Central Pa for some digging. After getting some trash I dug up this. Very detailed pin This area of Pa was settled in the early 1800. I found this in an Open field at Hicks Run Pa. image.webp

Nice digs. That's a beauty.

very nice pin, looks like the ace is good to you!

Cool Pin !!!

I'm just north of you a little ways. up toward the butler area.

I use the Ace 350. I have hundreds of hours on the thing. It usually tells me what it thinks I need to know, sometimes it surprises me though.
I usually notch out everything below the nickel, sensitivity about three - four bars down. With the wet weather I"ve only been using two or three bars of sensitivity.

I've found that slowing down is more productive than any setting on my machine.

very nice pin that's a beauty

That's a nice pin kromar. It is in excellent condition for being in the ground....might it be silver? Look for '.925' or 'Sterling'.

That's a beauty, Congrats on the save !!!

Thanks for the tips unfound. I got about 20 hours on the Ace. Thanks to all for looking !

On my second day detecting at a local park I found a lot of junk and a few clad but did find an 18k earring ImageUploadedByTreasureNet.com1429154129.127413.webp

Nice saves there :occasion14:

Nice pin!!!
I'm waiting on my Ace 250.
If I still was living in the Keystone State, I'd suggest a hunt together.
Good luck out there.
