4th of July - Barber 50c & 10c Merc 10c and Don SJ can you look at this button?

Here's my 4th of July finds. I made a b-line for what looked like the last spot anyone would have bothered to detect at this site and bam BAM barber dime barber half dollar! Found a couple wheats then moved on to another spot. I picked a line, started walking and it was like shooting fish in a barrel, several wheats, then a merc stuck to a wheat, then the cool button, and more wheats. I called it a day after 3 hours and headed for home.

Super day Charles, and of course BIG silver is always nice. I can't tell much on the button, however, I have found a similar money clip or something like that with almost identical bust on it. Also, almost like a coin button, possibly.

Very sweet. Love the barber coinage.

I have only found one Barber Half. You probably have probably found a lot of barber halves in your days.

Congrats on that Barber Half! I've yet to pull a silver half from the ground. I can only imagine the rush! The portrait on the button appears to be classical Roman or Greek.
