It's probably better that way just to hand off the sens. to the detector and not think about it, compared to the Explorer where you still see the setting and don't know how much the detector is adjusting down. Meaning... you could be running 100% sens. (32) but the detector actually performing at less than half of that. For anyone starting out on a Safari they should begin with either auto sens. or maybe 10-14 man..
