I had a couple of hours to detect today so I went to a little house that I had just got permission to hunt. The house was built in 1929 . I searched an area 15x35 feet. That is 1/2 of the front yard. Pretty small. Found 1 56d rosey dime , 1 39s wheathead , 13 nickles , 23 pennys , 9 dimes . Pulled out 1 Missouri tax token , and 1 trade token ,1 cell phone battery. Best day in a long time.

Don't it make you feel good when a site pays off like that? I haven't had much luck in quite a while, but I'm glad you did! Excellent! Monty

A wheat or wheatie is a USA one cent coin that has a couple of shocks of wheat on the obverse. They are mostly pure copper coins and are worth a little more than one cent on todays metal market. They were issued back from the early 1900s until the 1950s...approximately, and then were replaced by the clad or zinc cent without the wheat on the obverse. Monty
