5 cent trade token

The wife and I went out last night for an after dinner hunt.

I had found 2 trade tokens there last year, but they were toasted after so long in the ground.

This time I found one in (relatively) great shape.

This is from an old business in the town nearby, and has awesome detail.

Heck, I even like the crack! Gives it character.

Yes, that is the first token I had found from this site last year. That one was barely legible under magnification.

This one is in great shape, so I have it mounted in a coin holder. I am going to use it as an example of local history when trying to secure permissions.

I have another one from a store in Florence. If you follow that link earlier in this thread I found one from Florence, a former town down by Silvana.
