Hey all,

I haven't gotten as much as I've wanted to this year, and when I have the finds haven't been worth posting. Today, though, I thought I'd share this artillery squad. Found these fellows near a school. I believe they are WWI. Two soldiers are carrying shells, two are holding ram-rods, and one is the gun commander. Funny thing is I found four of the soldiers first and with the two carrying shells I was saying "now I need to find their cannon!". Made my day when it came out near the end of the hunt. :)

Also got a 1944 Mexican 20 centavos and a 1911 wheat-back along with 11 cents in clad.

If anyone has a manufacturer ID on the soldiers, I'd be obliged. There are no marks or other trademarks on them.

Thanks for looking,

-NZ49er

Love yours! Still has paint. Lead toys are some of my favorite finds.

Awesome lead toys, congrats! :occasion14:

Looks like you captured the whole squad and their equipment single handed. :icon_salut: :award_star_bronze_1

Cool finds!

Love those old lead soldiers. Probably a home kit from 1930's. Check out lead soldier molds on eBay. I know I've seen the one for casting those soldiers and cannon before.

Nice lead soldiers, congratulations on the saves

Very cool and unique finds. Congrats and thanks for sharing.
