5 More Silver Coins out of the Median! ....3 Were in one Hole!

It was another excellent day in the median. One hour after starting my hunt I got a perfect hit a 5 inches and dig out
a 1941 silver quarter with a 1945 war nickel stuck to it! I then fan the dirt pile next to the hole and get another perfect
hit and I retrieve a 1916 Barber dime! All three were in the same hole!

Later, 2 silver Roosevelt dimes and 10 wheat pennies would top off a great day of hunting!

I found one of those tokens and turns out they came with a bottle of whiskey.

We have a guy in our metal detecting club who was born and raised in San Francisco. When he was a child in the 1960's he was in the median playing with his friends all the time. The amount of metal toys I've found out there has to be close to 100 now.

Generations of kids from the 1920's to the present have been using this place as a park.

The amount of coins that I've taken out of the median is around 5,000! (139 have been silver) Over the years I've spent probably 50+ Saturdays working this area. It's been a lot of work, nothing came easy.

I've done well in most of the ones I've tried. As long as there is foot traffic in one you'll probably find something.
